Hey, I am Alisha and I'm a German-American creator, born and raised in Berlin.
I've been working as a freelance writer and translator since 2010.
Having grown up in the district of Steglitz, I graduated from the John F. Kennedy School Berlin with a high school diploma in 2007, and later completed an apprenticeship at Universal Music Germany with a degree in Audiovisual Media.
I spent the following years roaming the professional worlds of music, media, and marketing in Berlin and Los Angeles, and gathered practical experience working as an artist manager, product manager, and partner manager amongst other jobs. Through it all, and even in times of full-time employment, I have always stayed true to my beloved freelance gigs - be it writing, translating, or working with artists for video shoots, live shows, awards, etc.
Translating and creating media related content brings together all my personal and professional backgrounds, experiences, and interests.
Having grown up navigating between different cultures, I don’t just speak and write in both English and German at a native level, but am also aware of all the linguistic and cultural nuances that are essential to retaining and adapting both authenticity and tone appropriately.
