It’s been years since Hitimpulse took dancefloors across the globe by storm with their hit single “I’m in Love with the Coco”. They have since released many follow-up bangers, such as “Miss Fatty Fatty (feat. KANIS & Jazz Montell)”, “Caribou Lou”, and “If You Want My Love” together with Maria Hazell. Now, they are ready to introduce their newest track “No More Favours”, which is bound to give us some proper heat right as summer’s coming to an end and the weather’s cooling down.
“For ‘No More Favours’ we teamed up with one of our favorite artists, S1mba. We heard his hit ‘Rover’ and immediately knew we need to get him on one of our songs, so we invited him to Berlin to collaborate, and luckily, he was down. “No More Favours” is for everyone who sometimes feels overwhelmed by other people asking for things they don’t really wanna do. Combining hip hop, funk & pop music, this is an uplifting good-vibe record for the dance floors and everyone getting in the zone,” Hitimpulse member Henrik Meinke explains.
Kicking off with a sample of S1mbas’s vocals, the track builds on melodic verses by the Zimbabwean-born British singer-songwriter and rapper and - following a catchy bridge - culminates in a chorus that is bound to get stuck in everyone’s ears and get listeners moving.
The producing, songwriting, and DJ collective Hitimpulse can look back on an impressive track record of successful single releases and countless A-list collabs with artists such as Ava Max, Ellie Goulding, Gashi, Tove Lo, Kygo, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Felix Jaehn, Adam Lambert, Herbert Grönemeyer, ALMA, and many more. “Some Say” by Swedish artist Nea, the first song released via their label Kookie Diamond, has garnered nearly 400 million Spotify plays to date. “No More Favours” is destined to follow in its footsteps.
